The American Camping Association's web site at offers the Guide to Summer Camp, an online resource guide and directory to ACA accredited camps in New England. We know that when children grow up with exposure to inventors and innovation, they're more likely to be innovative themselves.1 In our efforts to provide children with inclusive access to STEM education and role models, we've designed the only programs that can connect students with our NIHF Inductees — the Nation's Greatest Innovators.

Public-private career training pipelines are emerging throughout the state, while eight community colleges now offer traditional skills from blueprint reading, to welding or pipe-fitting in six-week courses and more sophisticated 10-month programs in 3D printing and computerized machine-making.
In addition to all its extensive academic and professional contributions to the scientific world, the department of computer science and engineering also designs age- appropriate summer camps that are designed to nurture tech-oriented youth of all skill levels through a fun, interactive, and socially inclusive program.
Assistant Director responsibilities may include promoting the program, facilitating Base Camp activities, overseeing site and program safety, supervising Leadership Interns and Leaders-in-Training, keeping inventory of materials and helping with on-site coordination.

In the summer of 2019, Kingswood Oxford and Fleming Tech Camps will offer two weeks of programs, with one technology programs each week. Register your students ages 8 and up for this free two-day, two-hour camp teaching students robotics and coding basics using Ohbot the talking robot. After building on fundamental coding concepts, students begin the journey of learning the constructs of typed languages like Python and Javascript, and later C++, Java or others.

More then 65% of the day will be spent indoors, working in our technology labs. Kids come in as usual for their one (or two) hour Code Coaching® session as scheduled, but come a second time each week for a group one-hour session to work on their presentations and get together for team-oriented activities.
